The Tower of London is one of the most famous heritage landmarks in the world. The Tower is one of the UK’s biggest visitor draws. In 2025 it was the top paid-for attraction in the UK, in 9th place overall with 2,817,852 visitors. It sits right beside Tower Bridge, which greeted more than 900,000 visitors in 2024, and close to St Katharine Docks, the City of London and the South Bank’s Potters Fields Park.
The area attracts a mix of international tourists, domestic day-trippers and City of London workers. Tower Hill station, opposite the Tower’s entrance, had 16.10 million entries and exits in 2025, ranking it the 34th busiest London Underground station.
