Broadgate Tower is one of the City of London’s most striking skyscrapers, rising over 160 metres above Primrose Street on the northern edge of the Square Mile. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and completed in 2008, the tower is part of the Broadgate estate and is instantly recognisable for the bold diagonal steel bracing across its glass façade.
The tower stands where the City’s financial district meets the creative energy of East London. It is visible from Old Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane, the Truman Brewery and Shoreditch, an area packed with restaurants, bars, designer stores and independent boutiques. The audience ranges from financial and professional services workers to creatives, tech workers, trend-setters and visitors exploring East London’s markets and nightlife.
The location is exceptionally well connected. Liverpool Street station, served by the Elizabeth line, Underground and National Rail, is moments away, and Shoreditch High Street Overground station is a short walk north. Nearby landmarks include Broadgate Circle, Exchange Square, Old Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane and Boxpark Shoreditch.... Read more
