location:live have taken a look back at the projects delivered by our lo:studio crew over the last 10 years and handpicked a few favourites.
PLACES: A destination, most likely for ticketed events, content generation or film shoots.
SPACES: With an existing audience and therefore high footfall. We take the brand to the consumer - examples include Southbank, Malls, Airports, Train stations, City Centres - these are common places for campaign tours.
OFF-PISTE: Where the brief is very specific and almost impossible to secure. The location:live crew scout and secure unheard of locations for unique experiences, we call these spaces Unicorns.
Let's take a look back at a few of our favourites...
adidas GLITCH, the mobile only start up, launched its new football range.
Lead agency Iris WorldWide came to lo:studio to find a chicken shop in London - it needed to have organic footfall within their core audience of 14-19 year old football players. The end result was a one night takeover, the location was announced on the day through adidas social channels - providing consumers a post-match reward at their local takeaway giving away free adidas Glitch boots followed by a music performance from Headie One.
The lo:studio team scoured the streets of London - landing a family run business in East London, and securing the local Scout Hut for a green room and storage.
Lead agency Villa Eugenie, known for their excellence in delivering events within the world of luxury fashion and beauty, tasked the lo:studio crew to secure an untapped unforgettable space for their Burberry experience. On the 16th September, 2019 Burberry presented its Spring/Summer 2020 collection in West London.
The key part of the location was not only the show stopping location for the main event, but in addition to this it was imperative to secure the support space for show prep, including the dressing room for models, stylists and make up artists in addition to providing easy access to the runway. Theatres have existing shows in place, so it was all about managing the relationships and making the impossible happen - which the lo:studio crew delivered exceptionally.
Lead agency Cheil executed a range of activations for Samsung, one being the Samsung Galaxy Premium Studio featuring unique and interactive experiences for the Galaxy S8 and S8+. The lo:studio team searched, planned, booked, and managed the national roll-out of the first 10m x 10m cube activation to launch in the world, giving people the opportunity to get hands-on with the device at the same time as understanding it’s capabilities in everyday life.
The tour covered a number of locations, kicking off in Westfield Stratford with the 10x10 activation, followed by the smaller 5x5 activation touring The centre:MK, Cabot Circus, Trinity Centre, Intu Trafford, and Braehead.
The National tour created a huge buzz with footfall exceeding expectations. Whether it be Gen Z or Gen Y there was something for everyone driving an increase in sales to local stores and onsite.
Campo Viejo, Lake of Colour Pop-Up at Clapham Common
Lead agency Iris WorldWide came to lo:studio to secure the ideal location for a floating wine bar, with the ambition to bring Londoners and visitors together to create good memories. The event included inviting key clients to enjoy wine tasting masterclasses, live music, and tapas.
The lo:studio challenge here was to find a non-tidal lake, with organic footfall in central London, including power. The team negotiated around challenges with the councils and made it happen on Clapham Common Lake.
We hope you have enjoyed a quick glance at some of our favourites, if you would like to learn more or make an enquiry for your own up and coming activation we would love to hear from you at hello@locationlive.co.uk
