Situated in the medieval quarter of the city, Cathedral Gardens is a versatile green space, adjacent to Victoria railway station, Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester Cathedral, the Corn Exchange and the Football Museum. Cathedral Gardens is built with new natural stone and granite paving surrounding lawn areas and mature trees that provide a green oasis to the busy city centre. Many events are hosted here throughout the year such as the annual Jazz Festival, Manchester Food and Drink Festival, The Ice Village (part of the Christmas Markets) and other promotional activity.
